Shakti Mama 𑣲

Jasmine and Nicole’s friendship became a foundation — built on motherhood, intuition, late-night conversations, shared healing, and a mutual desire to change the way women are supported.

Their stories are different but woven with the same thread: women deserve informed choice, sisterhood, and reverence.

Shakti Mama was born from that knowing — a devotion to rebuild the village, honor the divine feminine, and create spaces where women remember their power. Two mothers, Jasmine and Nicole, each navigating their own journeys of birth, healing, and awakening, found themselves called to create a space where women could return to that wisdom together.

What began as conversations about motherhood, intuition, and the lack of genuine support for women quickly blossomed into a vision: a community where women are held, celebrated, and guided back to their innate strength.

Shakti Mama is more than a brand, it is a movement of remembrance. A home for womb wisdom. A circle of women reclaiming their power, one breath at a time.

We offer resources, sacred circles, birth preparation tools, and spiritually-rooted practices that help women reconnect with themselves at every stage of life — from the awakening of your feminine essence to motherhood, to every sacred chapter in between.

Whether you are preparing for birth, healing after birth, awakening spiritually, or simply seeking a community that sees you — you belong here.

 Jasmine Vargas

Co-founder of Shakti Mama

Jasmine is a mother, intuitive storyteller, and the visionary heart behind Shakti Mama. Her journey into birth work and feminine remembrance began long before she realized — but it was pregnancy that awakened her deepest knowing.

For the first five months of her pregnancy, Jasmine received care through a traditional OB-GYN practice. Despite having a healthy pregnancy, she was unexpectedly labeled “high risk” without clarity, explanation, or true consent. Surrounded by outside voices, medical pressure, and rising fear, she felt herself drifting further from her intuition until something within her spoke louder.

Instead of abandoning herself, she chose to return home to her own wisdom.

Jasmine discontinued OB care, trusted her inner voice, and sought midwifery support — guided by Nicole, who lovingly referred her to their now-beloved midwife, Sheila. Under compassionate, holistic care, Jasmine finally felt seen, heard, and honored. Her home birth became a profound spiritual initiation.. one that redefined trust, surrender, and feminine power.

Her birth experience ignited a fire within her: a calling to guide women back to their intuition, their womb wisdom, and their divine feminine essence. Through her own awakening, she witnessed how powerful birth becomes when a woman is supported, respected, and allowed to lead her own experience.

Today, Jasmine pours that knowing into Shakti Mama ♡ Creating sacred resources, circles, and offerings that remind women that their bodies are wise, their stories are sacred, and their intuition is their greatest guide.

Her mission is simple yet profound: to help women return to themselves — to the sacred truth that was always within.

 Nicole Ramsay

Co-founder of Shakti Mama

Nicole is a mother, nurturer, and grounding feminine presence within Shakti Mama. Her path into birth advocacy began through lived experience — one that transformed both her motherhood and her purpose.

With her first pregnancy, Nicole was told her baby was “too big,” warned of complications, and ultimately directed into a primary cesarean. Though grateful her child arrived safely, her spirit carried unanswered questions, emotional weight, and the quiet knowing that there had been another way.

She promised herself that if she ever birthed again, she would do so on her own terms — informed, supported, and sovereign.

Her second pregnancy became the embodiment of that promise. Surrounded by a trusted midwife, held in compassion, and rooted in her feminine wisdom, Nicole birthed her second baby at home — a powerful, gentle waterbirth. In reclaiming her own story, she witnessed firsthand how transformative it is when a woman is believed, respected, and fully supported.

This experience ignited her devotion to helping women feel safe, emotionally held, and deeply seen — especially in pregnancy, postpartum, and the sacred identity shift of motherhood.

Nicole believes in community as medicine, softness as strength, and conversation as healing. Her gift lies in creating spaces where women can exhale, open, share, and remember their wholeness.
